GLORY continues to build the line-up for its February 6th card, as the kickboxing promotion has announced that Nieky Holzken will fight Murthel Groenhart in the opening round of the night’s welterweight tourney.

The upcoming event, which will take place in Hampton, Virginia, will feature a heavyweight bout between champion Rico Verhoeven and Errol Zimmerman in the headliner.

GLORY relayed news of the Holzken-Groenhart fight to Sherdog.com, and has subsequently re-tweeted the match-up. The winner of the February 6th, welterweight tourney will advance to face champion Joseph Valtellini.

Holzken (84-11) is currently riding a five fight win streak and missed much of 2014 due to a shoulder injury. The welterweight is currently ranked as GLORY’s #1 contender, and Holzken holds a December, 2013, stoppage win over Valtellini.

Groenhart (55-16-3) is coming off back-to-back wins and is a former, 2012 K-1 World Max Tournament winner.

The main card for GLORY 19 will be broadcast on SPIKE.
