GLORY has announced that the kickboxing promotion’s middleweight champion, Artem Levin, will defend his title May 8th. The bout will be part of GLORY 21, which will be hosted by the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California.

Who will challenge Levin will be determined at GLORY 20 on April 3rd. The Dubai bound event will feature a middleweight tourney, which will see Jason  Wilnis (23-4-1) take on Alex Pereira (17-2-0) and Wayne Barrett (5-2) face Simon Marcus (40-2-1) in the semifinals.

Levin (50-4-1) hasn’t fought since last June, when he decisioned Joe Schilling to win GLORY’s “Last Man Standing” tourney and the vacant, middleweight title. The Russian fighter also defeated Alex Pereira and Filip Verlinden that night.

The main card for GLORY 21 will be broadcast on SPIKE.
