GLORY 26: Nieky Holzken Narrowly Defends Title, Rico Verhoeven Scores Highlight Reel KO

Nieky Holzken remains GLORY’s welterweight champ following the kickboxing promotion’s latest event, but the vaunted striker nearly lost the belt.

Holzken took on Murthel Groenhart at the event, and following the entertaining and competitive bout, the latter was handed the split decision loss.

In heavyweight action, champion Rico Verhoeven scored an empathic, knockout win over Benjamin Adegbuyi, as he floored the contender with a pounding right hand in round one.
