Benefit Dinner for Family/Medical Fund For Greg and Vee Nelson

Greg A. Nelson, age 37, was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Cancer in June of 2002. He is actively involved in giving support to his community. Greg is the founder and owner of the Minnesota Martial Arts Academy in Brooklyn Park. For the last four years, he has sponsored annual kick-a-thons to raise money for the St. Jude Children Hospital. Through his passion in martial arts, he has won numerous distinctive high-honor awards around the world and shares his skills by teaching the martial arts discipline to both children and adults nationally. Greg is married to Vee Phan Nelson and has two children, Gunnar, age 2, and Nina, age 4. Vee is the Executive Director of CAPI, a non-profit organization that provides culturally grounded services to immigrants and refugees from all over the world. Greg and his family have dedicated their lives to serve their community. This benefit is to support Greg’s medical and other expenses due to the effects of the Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Cancer. His family and friends are hosting this benefit — we hope that you can join us in supporting someone who has contributed so much to the community. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
