Hector Lombard Announces He’s UFC Bound

The Ultimate Fighting Championship has added another top ranked middleweight to its roster, as today Bellator champion Hector Lombard has confirmed that he’s signed with the organization.

For some time now there’s has been considerable speculation as to where the free agent fighter would wind up, particularly due to Lombard’s awe inspiring 25 fight undefeated streak.

The 34 year-old-fighter, who made the announcement via Twitter, did not offer any specific details as to when he will make his UFC debut.

The UFC hasn’t made any announcement regarding the reported signing.

During Lombard’s (31-2) impressive run the American Top Team fighter has scored victories over established fighters like Alexander Shlemenko, Joe Doerksen, Jesse Taylor, Brian Ebersole and James Te Huna, amongst others.

The Cuban born and former Olympic Judoka made his pro MMA debut in 2004.
