Henry Cejudo Calls Out Tim Elliott
By FCF Staff
Although Henry Cejudo is ranked substantially higher than Tim Elliott in the flyweight ranks, the decorated wrestler is calling for a bout with the rugged vet.
Cejudo is coming off a decision win over Anthony Pettis, and is currently ranked #2 in the UFC’s 125 division. Elliott, meanwhile, submitted bantamweight Mark De La Rosa in his last outing, and is ranked #12 at 125. But, on account of the exchanges they had during TUF 24, when Cejudo was a coach and Elliott was a competitor, recently “The Messenger” tweeted out this:
What's up @TElliott125 you don't have a fight and I don't have a fight. You talked a lot of tuf24. Time to step up @ufc @danawhite @Mickmaynard2

Elliott’s win over De La Rosa in December took place not long after the passing of his head coach, Robert Follis. Elliott won the 24th of TUF and advanced to a title fight with Demetrious Johnson. The latter won the bout via unanimous decision.
