Herman vs. Russow, Grice vs. Grispi Confirmed for UFC 136

By FCF Staff

The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s upcoming October 8th event in Houston, Texas has two new additions, as the promotion has confirmed that heavyweight Dave Herman will face Mike Russow and featherweight Josh Grispi will meet Matt Grice on the card.

Herman (21-2) (pictured above left) will be looking to build on his UFC debut in June when he stopped Jon Olav Einemo in the second round. Herman has won three straight fights and is 8-2 in his last 10.

Russow (14-1) has won all three of his Octagon appearances to date; most recently at Fight Night 24 in March he earned a TKO win (doctor stoppage) over Jon Madsen.

Grispi (14-3) is looking to rebound from back-to-back stoppage losses against Dustin Poirier and most recently George Roop, after going undefeated in four WEC bouts.

Grice (13-4) is coming off a stoppage loss to Ricardo Lamas at UFC Live 4 in June, which ended the veteran’s four fight winning streak.

UFC 136 will be hosted by Houston’s Toyota Center. No main event for the card has been announced yet.
