Undefeated bantamweight, Holly Holm has been booked for her Octagon debut, as the promotion has announced that she will fight Raquel Pennington at UFC 181 on December 6th.

Holm has won seven straight fights since the decorated boxer transitioned into MMA, and is widely regarded to be one of the bantamweight division’s top prospects. Most recently, the 33 year-old fighter stopped Juliana Werner in April to win Legacy FC’s 135 title.

Pennington (4-4) will be looking to rebound from a split decision loss she suffered versus Jessica Andrade at UFC 171 in March. Prior to that the 26 year-old decisioned Roxanne Modafferi at the TUF 13 Finale last November.

UFC 181 will be hosted by the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, and will feature welterweight champ Johny Hendricks taking on Robbie Lawler. The card will also see lightweight champ Anthony Pettis square off with Gilbert Melendez.
