The UFC has announced that Holly Holm will face Germaine de Randamie for the promotion’s inaugural women’s 145 title, and Cris “Cyborg” Justino is criticizing the move.

Holm and de Randamie will fight for the new title at UFC 208, which will take place on February 11th in Brooklyn, New York. The announcement comes not long after Dana White reported the promotion had offered Justino two different dates to fight for the 145 belt, but that the latter turned them down. Since then, “Cyborg” has said she was still recovering from her cuts to 140 pounds, and that she couldn’t be 100% for the proposed bouts.

Now, following the news of the Holm – de Randamie booking, Justino told MMA Fighting the following:

“Everybody knows I’m the featherweight champion,” Justino said. “I’m undefeated for 10 years in my division. They put this belt only to sell the fight for the new MMA fans. For an example, Holly is coming off two consecutive losses and will fight for the belt. The real fight fans know what’s real.”

Holm lost the bantamweight title to Miesha Tate in March, and most recently, she was decisioned by Valentina Shevchenko. De Randamie, meanwhile, has won back-to-back bouts since she was stopped by Amanda Nunes in 2013.

“Cyborg”, who is Invicta FC’s featherweight champ, has scored stoppage wins over Lina Lansberg and Leslie Smith in the Octagon. Both fights were contested at 140 pounds.
