By FCF Staff

Michael Bisping (22-3) will replace an injured Mark Munoz opposite Chael Sonnen (26-11-1) at UFC on Fox 2 at United Center in Chicago, Ill. on Jan. 28, UFC President Dana White announced on Twitter today.  The winner of the fight will receive a shot at Anderson Silva’s middleweight title.

“Munoz is injured and out of the FOX fight,” stated White on Twitter. “Now it’s Chael Sonnen vs. Mike Bisping Jan. 28, and the winner will fight Anderson for the title.”

Neither specifics regarding Munoz’s injury or a timeline for his return have been indicated.

Bisping was originally slated to face Demian Maia on the UFC on Fox 2 card.
