‘Chopper’ Chi Lewis-Parry Vs. Stav ‘Crazy Bear’ Economou

Just as you thought that BAMMA 34: Lohore Vs. Brazier couldn’t get any bigger, two of the UK’s biggest Heavyweights collide in a bout that will rock the SSE Arena. After signing with the promotion, Parry immediately gets to take on one of the UK’s most established Heavyweights for the Interim title in the shape of Stav ‘Crazy Bear’ Economou. Making his own BAMMA debut, Economou steps straight in with expectations high of securing the win over Parry and hauling the gold back to Essex. When this titanic clash goes down expect some serious heavy leather to be thrown, as combined these two fearsome Heavyweights have a 95% finish rate.

Featherweight Bout

Diego ‘The Barbarian’ Barbosa Vs. Mike ‘Pretty Boy’ Hales

Two new Featherweight fighters step into the division at BAMMA 34, with both Barbosa and Hales bringing strong reputations with them. Barbosa plans on continuing his near perfect record of first round knockouts when the two meet on 9th March, whilst ‘Pretty Boy’ Hales brings a perfect first round finish record with him and will be looking to continue that streak on the biggest stage in Europe.

Featherweight Bout

Chris Miah Vs. Dominic Dillon

Making his long awaited return to the promotion, Chris Miah now sets his sights on a new target of the Featherweight title. After previously fighting at Flyweight, he has now made the move to his natural weight class. Dillon will be making his BAMMA debut at the SSE Arena, and will be aiming to take a a huge scalp in the shape of Miah.

‘Chopper’ Chi Lewis-Parry (6-0-0-1) Parry will enter BAMMA on March 9th as the tallest fighter to ever grace the promotion. Standing at 6’10”, the former Glory kickboxer has amassed a perfect record with a 100% finish rate. His has recorded a 50-50 split in finishes between KOs and submissions. This will mark Parry’s promotional debut.

Stav ‘Crazy Bear’ Economou (18-5-1) Economou is a well known figure in the UK Heavyweight division. Having made his debut in 2006, the TSG Fight School standout has recorded 9 KOs, 6 Submissions and 3 decision victories. With wins over the likes of Linton Vassell, Bob Sapp and former UFC Heavyweight Champion Ricco Rodriguez, the Crazy Bear is going to be Parry’s toughest test to date.

Diego ‘The Barbarian’ Barbosa (4-2) Barbosa made his pro debut in 2011 where he took a loss to Dawid Farycki. Following this he headed back to the amateur ranks before coming back and posting a 4-1 record. Barbosa currently trains out of Nova Forca.

Mike ‘Pretty Boy’ Hales (5-0) Hales has recently relocated his training to the world famous SBG Ireland gym after starting out his career with TSG Fight School. The fresh faced 22 year old from Essex has gone as far as to relocate his current home base to Ireland as he prepares for a huge step up in his career and in competition. Big things are expected from Hales and the first step on the ladder is his debut at BAMMA 34 on March 9th.

Chris Miah (8-1) After an absence from the promotion of three years, the Birmingham based Miah returns to pick up where he left off. Now training with Brad Pickett and Mickey Papas out of Team Titan, Miah has also stepped up to his natural weight class of Featherweight. The winner of the 2015 KO of the year, Miah holds wins over BAMMA World Flyweight Champion Daniel Barez and recently took out up and coming prospect Jack ‘Honey Badger’ Owen. His only loss is at the hands of UFC fighter Jarred ‘The Monkey God’ Brooks.

Dominic Dillon (4-3-0-1) Dillon recently had a four fight win streak snapped after tearing through various opponents over the space of two years, with the majority of those wins via submission. Dillon also holds a win over BAMMA Lightweight Charlie Boy Howard from when they were amateurs. The bad blood from that fight still is running its course to this day. Dillon trains out of Exiles MMA.
