Jake and Jared Rosholt Replace Drew McFedries, Rory Markham for Titan FC 18

Due to the late withdrawal of veterans Drew McFedries and Rory Markham from this coming Friday’s Titan Fighting Championship, the promotion has confirmed that brothers Jake and Jared Rosholt will step in as their replacements.
According to a news release from Titan FC, McFedries is unable to fight due to a staph infection, while Markham has been offered a “high profile” movie role that requires he leave the country immediately. The welterweight has been pursuing acting for some time now.
“We were extremely disappointed when the management for Drew and Rory informed us of the news. However, this is the fight business and having promoted fights since the age of 24, I’ve dealt with a lot of hurdles in promoting shows,” said Titan CEO Joe Kelly. “While losing Drew and Rory from the show hurts, we took the news in stride I am very excited that the fans in attendance at Memorial Hall and those watching live on HDNet are going to see two future stars in this sport step up on short notice and test themselves.”
Jake Rosholt (11-3) will head to Kansas City to face John Ott (8-8) in a catch-weight bout at 200lbs. Rosholt has gone 5-1 now since exiting from the UFC in late, 2009. The decorated collegiate wrestler is coming off a submission win over John Malbrough on May 21st.
Jared Rosholt has gone 2-0 since the collegiate wrestling champion transitioned into MMA this year. The heavyweight will take on Kirk Grinlinton (2-2) at this Friday’s event.
