James Vick celebrating his victory

James Vick wasn’t happy about the fact that the UFC didn’t book him for a main event slot, at the promotion’s February 18th card in Austin, but the Texas fighter has been added to the card.

Recently the UFC announced that Vick will take on Francisco Trinaldo at the event, which will take place at the Frank Erwin Center.

Vick (12-1) is currently riding a three fight, winning streak, and is coming off a stoppage win over Joseph Duffy in November.

Trinaldo (22-5), meanwhile, earned a decision win over Jim Miller in his last bout, which followed a submission loss to Kevin Lee.

Currently Vick and Trinaldo are tied for the #14 ranking in the UFC’s lightweight division.
