With Bobby Voelker set to fight Robbie Lawler at UFC on FOX 8 now, the UFC has booked a new opponent for James Head at UFC on FS1 2, and it’s welterweight Jason High.

The promotion has retweeted a post from FOX Sports reporting the High-Head bout, which will go down August 28th, at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The card will be broadcast on FOX Sports 1.

High (16-4) will be looking to record his first UFC win, as the accomplished fighter is coming off a submission loss to Erick Silva in June. High’s only other Octagon appearance took place in 2010, when he lost by unanimous decision to Charlie Brenneman. Prior to facing Silva, High had won seven straight fights, and defeated UFC vets like Jordan Mein and Quinn Mulhern in the proces.

Head (9-3) is also coming off a loss, as he was stopped by Mike Pyle in December, after posting victories over Papy Abedi and Brian Ebersole. Head dropped down to welterweight from middleweight after losing by UD to Nick Ring at UFC 131.

UFC on FS1 2 will be headlined by a welterweight bout between Martin Kampmann and Carlos Condit.
