Jason High has apologized for pushing referee Kevin Mulhall following his loss at UFC Fight Night 42, but the New Mexico Commission has suspended the welterweight for one year.

According to multiple reports, the commission has also fined High ten percent of his purse for the infraction, which amounts to $1,900. High was stopped by Rafael dos Anjos in the second round at the June 7th event, which was hosted by Albuquerque’s Tingley Coliseum.

The commission also determined that there is no grounds to overturn the result of Diego Sanchez’s split decision win over Ross Pearson. The latter’s camp appealed the decision, which was widely viewed as one of the worst in recent memory.
