Joe Proctor vs. Ramsey Nijem Added to UFC on FOX 5

The Ultimate Fighting Championship announced Wednesday that a bout between TUF vets Joe Proctor and Ramsey Nijem has been added to the line-up of its December 8th, UFC on FOX event.

Proctor (8-1) last competed on June 1st, when the lightweight stopped Jeremy Larsen in the first round, at the TUF 15 Finale. The Team Aggression fighter has won four official bouts in a row.

Nijem (6-2) has won back-to-back bouts over Danny Downes and most recently C.J. Keith, after being knocked out by Tony Ferguson at the TUF 13 Finale in July, 2011.

The UFC on FOX 5 card will be hosted by Seattle’s Key Arena and will be broadcast live on FOX.

Other confirmed bouts for the card include lightweight champion Ben Henderson vs. Nate Diaz, light-heavyweight Alexander Gustafsson vs. “Shogun” Rua and BJ Penn vs. welterweight Rory MacDonald.
