After not being medically cleared to fight at Bellator 98 on September 7th, former featherweight champ Joe Warren has been rebooked to face Nick Kirk at Bellator 101 on September 27th. The bantamweight semi-final tournament fight will be part of the event’s main card, which will take place at Portland’s Rose Garden Arena.

Warren (8-3), who was one of the coaches for Bellator’s TV program “Fight Master”, hasn’t fought since last November when he defeated Owen Evinger.

Kirk (10-2), meanwhile, is coming off a submission win over Ben Miller while competing for the Impact Fighting Championship in April.

As a result of the scheduling change, the heavyweight semifinal bout between Cheick Kongo and Mark Godbeer has reportedly been moved to October 4th.
