It appears as though World Series of Fighting has secured another bout featuring two UFC vets, as lightweight John Gunderson tweeted today that he is fighting Dan Lauzon at the promotion’s upcoming event in June.

WSOF 3 is scheduled to take place June 14th, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The promotion has not made any official announcement regarding the Gunderson-Lauzon bout.

Gunderson (34-14-2) is coming off a submission loss to David Castillo at a United Combat Sports event in July, 2012, after tapping out Karo Parisyan at a ShoFight card last June.

Since exiting from the UFC, following a unanimous decision loss to Yves Edwards in September, 2010, Gunderson has gone 4-3.

Lauzon (16-4), meanwhile, has won four straight bouts and stopped Anthony Kaponis in his last outing, which took place in December, 2011. Prior to the winning streak, Lauzon dropped a unanimous decision loss to Efrain Escudero at UFC 114 in May, 2010.

The next show for WSOF is set to take place on March 23rd and will be broadcast live on the NBC Sports Network.
