Johny Hendricks was victorious in his first bout at 185, and following UFC Fight Night 105, he delivered a warning to former foe, Georges St-Pierre.

Hendricks took on the heavy handed Hector Lombard on Sunday night, and outscored the former Bellator champ for the decision win. The victory comes just days after the UFC finalized a new deal with St-Pierre, who has expressed an interest in facing middleweight champ Michael Bisping.

After the card, Hendricks had this to say, while discussing the possibility of St-Pierre returning at middleweight (quote via MMA Junkie):

“I would just say sorry for the Canadians,” Hendricks said. “I’m going to have to beat his face in, definitely if he comes to 185. Because that’s a fight that I’ve been really looking for. And now that I’ve got a win under my belt at 185, he’s a newcomer at 185.”

Hendricks and St-Pierre fought back in 2013, and the latter retained the 170 title via a tightly contested, split decision win. The Canadian star announced he was taking a hiatus from fighting afterwards, and GSP has not fought since.
