The first Professional Fighters League card was held in Daytona Beach, Florida, on Friday. In the main event, Jon Fitch submitted fellow welterweight vet Brian Foster in the second round.

The Professional Fighters League was born out of World Series of Fighting, which earlier this year, announced it was changing to the PFL. In 2018, the promotion will begin holding annual tournaments to crown champions.
