The UFC is expected to announce when Jones will rematch reigning champ, Daniel Cormier, shortly. The bout will mark the first time “Bones” has fought since January 2015, when he decisioned “DC”. Recently Jones responded to fans on Twitter, and while doing so, he relayed the following about his plans.

Jones (21-1) fought Gustafsson in 2013 and earned a tightly contested, decision win over the contender. Plans for a rematch fell through in 2014 when Gustafsson went down with an injury.
