Jon Jones Says Phone Was Hacked After Derogatory Posts Appear on Instagram
By FCF Staff
After several derogatory and homophobic posts reportedly appeared on Jon Jones’ Instagram account recently, the UFC light-heavyweight champ and his management are claiming he was not behind them.
According to multiple reports, several insults and homophobic comments were directed at an Alexander Gustafsson fan from Jones’ Instagram account Tuesday, who was criticizing the fighter. The comments have since been taking down.
In a follow up post on Jones’ official Twitter account, the 26 year-old tweeted:
Just got a new phone. Changing all of my social media passwords. Apparently I was hacked.

Jones manager, Malki Kawa, also posted:
Wasn't jon. "@InMyMMAOpinion: @malkikawa so is that Jon's opinion? No hacked account?"

The UFC has yet to make any official comment regarding the situation.
Jones is scheduled to fight Glover Teixeira at UFC 172 on April 26th.
