Jorge Lopez vs. Amir Sadollah Added To UFC On FUEL TV 3 On May 15

Cody McKenzie vs. Aaron Riley, Brad Tavares vs. Dongi Yang also added to the card

Three additional fights – Jorge Lopez (11-2) vs. Amir Sadollah (5-3) a welterweight (170 pounds), Cody McKenzie (12-2) vs. Aaron Riley (30-13-1) at lightweight (155 pounds), and Brad Tavares (7-1) vs. Dongi Yang (10-2) at middleweight (185 pounds) – have been added to the UFC on FUEL TV 3 fight card that will take place at Patriot Center in Fairfax, Va. on May 15.

Lopez lost a unanimous decision in his last start to Justin Edwards at UFC Fight Night 25 on Sept. 17, 2011. The loss ended a 10-fight win streak that Lopez back in March 2008.

Sadollah was originally scheduled to fight at UFC 143, but was forced to withdraw from his bout due to injury. Sadollah is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Duane “Bang” Ludwig at UFC Live 5 on Aug. 14, 2011.

McKenzie is looking to rebound from two consecutive losses – a Jan 22, 2011 second round submission (rear-naked choke) at the hands of Yves Edwards at UFC – Fight for the Troops 2 and a Sept. 17, 2011 submission (rear-naked choke) at the hands of Vagner Rocha at UFC – Fight Night 25. Before the downturn, McKenzie had reeled off victories in his first 12 career fights.

Riley is a 15-year veteran of the sport known for his granite chin. He holds notable UFC victories over the likes of Jorge Gurgel and Shane Nelson. Riley was stopped by Tony Ferguson in his last effort at UFC 135 on Sept. 24.

Tavares is looking to return to the win column following a July 2, 2011 unanimous decision loss to Aaron Simpson at UFC 132. The loss was the first of Tavares’ career after winning his first seven career fights.

Yang is also looking for a victory after losing a unanimous decision to Court McGee at UFC – Fight Night 25 on Sept. 17. The Korean fighter is 1-2 in his last three starts after winning the first seven fights of his career.
