Josh Barnett could be returning to the Octagon in the not too distant future, as the heavyweight fighter received no suspension from USADA, following his arbitration case with the organization.

Barnett has been sidelined as a result of testing positive for ostarine in 2016. But, Barnett’s team was able to demonstrate that the positive test was the result of a contaminated supplement the accomplished fighter took. As a result the heavyweight only received a public reprimand from USADA.

Barnett (35-8), who has tested positive for banned substances in the past, hasn’t fought since September, 2016, when he submitted Andrei Arlovski.

The 40 year-old fighter is 3-2 in his last 5 contests.
