Josh Burkman Reporting “Issues Are Revolved” With WSOF, Fighting Winner of Rousimar Palhares-Jon Fitch
By FCF Staff
Not long after Josh Burkman relayed he’d asked for his release from World Series of Fighting, the welterweight is reporting his issues with the upstart promotion are “resolved.”
On Friday, Burkman announced via Twitter that he felt WSOF had wronged him “contractually”, and as a result, he’d requested his release. More recently, however, the rugged vet tweeted:
All is well w @MMAWorldSeries and w @AliAbdelaziz00 contract issues are resolved and I'll be fighting the winner of Fitch vs Phalhares.

Burkman is coming off a knockout win over Tyler Stinson at WSOF 9 to run his record with the promotion to 4-1.
The newly crowned champ, Rousimar Palhares, will defend the title versus Jon Fitch on July 5th.
