Koshceck

By FCF Staff

The co-main-event for the upcoming September 1st, UFC 151 card has lost one of its competitors, as Josh Koscheck has been forced to withdraw from his bout with Jake Ellenberger. According to the official UFC Tonight Twitter account, Koscheck can no longer competed due to a bulging disc in his back.

The UFC proceeded to announce that a replacement for Ellenberger will be announced soon.

The 34 year-old Koscheck is coming off a split decision loss to Johny Hendricks in May, after earning a split decision win over Mike Pierce in February.  The welterweight is 3-2 in his last five bouts.

UFC 151 will be hosted by the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada and will feature a light-heavyweight bout between champion Jon Jones and decorated vet Dan Henderson.
