Conor McGregor isn’t listed as the UFC’s best pound-for-pound fighter in the promotion’s rankings, but according to Ken Shamrock, the featherweight champ should be.

McGregor is coming off a jaw dropping, 13 second knockout win over Jose Aldo in December, who has long been regarded as one of the best fighters on the planet. Recently Shamrock spoke to Fight Hub, and when the legend was asked who is the best P4P fighter right now, he stated:

“Without a doubt, Conor McGregor,” Shamrock said. “His knockout over Aldo for me clinched it. It was just crazy. I mean Aldo, that guy is just great, and see what he did there….”

Currently McGregor is listed #3 in the UFC’s P4P rankings, and it remains to be seen when and who he will face next.

Shamrock, meanwhile, is booked to fight Royce Gracie at Bellator 149 on February 21st.
