Recently Justin Gaethje let it be known that he’d love to fight Kevin Lee, and it sounds like the lightweight contender would be more than happy to grant him his wish.

Gaethje recently appeared on “The MMA Hour”, and during the interview, he called Lee a “loudmouth” and relayed he wanted to face “The Motown Phenom”. Since then, Lee was a guest on MMA on SiriusXM, and he had this to say about facing the former WSOF champ (quotes via MMA Fighting):

“If it’s going to be against Justin, I like easy money,” said Lee.

“Justin likes to take a lot of damage. I like to give a lot of damage – it seems like a good match to me.

“I’m trying to look out for Justin’s health too. He needs some time too. The man has taken a lot of bad beatings over the last couple of months. I don’t think he wants another one right here, right now.

Gaethje is coming off a knockout loss to Eddie Alvarez last month, in what was one of the year’s best fights. Lee, meanwhile, was submitted by Tony Ferguson in October, in a bout for the UFC’s interim lightweight title.
