Kevin Lee Says Rafael dos Anjos is “on The Decline For Sure”

Rafael dos Anjos

Rafael dos Anjos has been defeated just twice in his last 10 bouts, but Kevin Lee believes the former lightweight champ’s best days are behind him.

Dos Anjos is scheduled to fight Tony Ferguson at UFC Fight Night 98 on November 5th, which will take place in Mexico City. The bout will mark the first time the 32 year-old dos Anjos has fought, since he was stopped by Eddie Alvarez in July, and lost the 155 belt.

Recently Lee spoke with Bloody Elbow, in advance of his November 19th bout with Magomed Mustafaev. Lee was asked for his take on the upcoming RDA – Ferguson bout, and here is what the 24 year-old had to say:

“I think Tony. I think Tony’s pressure will be a little too much. I think his cardio will be too good. I think RDA is on the decline for sure. He cuts a whole lot of weight to make this weight. I don’t think he can handle the pressure of Tony, and Tony is a beast. I’m definitely going Tony.”

Ferguson is riding an eight fight winning streak heading into his bout with RDA.

Lee, meanwhile, is coming off victories over Jake Matthews and Efrain Escudero, after being stopped by Leonardo Santos.
