Khabib Nurmagomedov

It remains to be seen whether the UFC will find Khabib Nurmagomedov an opponent for April 16th, but the lightweight contender had some sharp words for Rafael dos Anjos, who is calling for a rematch in July.

Nurmagomedov was scheduled to fight Tony Ferguson at UFC on FOX 19, but the latter has withdrawn due to injury. Following the news of Ferguson’s withdrawal, dos Anjos took to Twitter, and called for a bout with Nurmagomedov this summer. The two fought in April, 2014, and Nurmagomedov won the fight via unanimous decision.

The undefeated fighter had the following response for the lightweight champ.

Dos Anjos is still recovering from a broken foot which forced him to pull out of a bout with Conor McGregor last month.
