Khabib Nurmagomedov has been booked for his next fight, after spending most of 2014 and 2015 on the sidelines, as the vaunted grappler will face Tony Ferguson on December 11th. The lightweight fight will be part of the TUF 22 Finale, which will take place in Las Vegas. The venue has yet to be determined.

Nurmagomedov (22-0) will be fighting for the first time since last April, when he decisioned now lightweight champ, Rafael dos Anjos. “The Eagle”, who is currently ranked #3, incurred a knee injury late in 2014.

Ferguson (19-3) is riding a six fight winning streak and has worked his way into the #9 ranking spot. Most recently the former TUF winner scored a UD win over Josh Thomson.

The TUF 22 Finale will also feature Joe Lauzon vs. Evan Dunham and Mike Pierce vs. Ryan LaFlare.
