‘This card is set, we are ready for HOOKnHOOT’s ‘RING of FURY 3’ states promoter Tom Hafers. ‘Our new venue, the Avalon Nightclub in downtown Boston is the perfect place for a fight. It will hold close to 2000 people, so it will be packed and ready to go!’

The main events feature HnS World Champion at 205 lbs Jorge Rivera and the 185 lb HnS NE Champion Keith Rockel, both members of Team ELITE, perhaps Massachusetts finest Team of Mixed Martial Arts.

‘Both Rockel and Rivera deserve credit, they signed up for TOUGH fights’ explains HnS matchmaker Miguel Iturrate. ‘Canadian Denis Kang is still relatively unknown, but he is experienced, with a lot of fights in Canada, he is highly skilled, trained by Marcus Soares, and he is exciting! Rockel will have his hands full defending the home turf.’

‘For a late replacement, Solomon Hutcherson will make this a great fight’ starts the matchmaker, describing the competition for Rivera. ‘Rivera was originally scheduled to face stand out Bobby Southworth, who pulled out due to hives. Hutcherson is a lot like Rivera, with a street fighter mentality, hard nosed, hard puncher. It should be a crowd pleaser!’

The card features two other ‘MAIN EVENT’ type matches – Benji Radach v. Ryan Stout puts Radach’s 12-0-1 record on the line, while Dave Gardner v. Marco Aurelio looks to crown a 155 lb HOOKnSHOOT Champion in the Northeast.

‘This is Radach’s first fight at 185 lbs, and Stout is a young guy with a lot of potential as well. Radach is UFC material, and his new opponent, Ryan Stout is still a prospect – this is a tough fight for him as he starts a comeback, but Stout is dangerous!’ describes the matchmaker.

Marco Aurelio of American TOP TEAM will attempt to add another HnS regional title to his mantle, as he takes on Dave Gardner for the vacant 155 lb title. ‘Aurelio is our Southeast titleholder – and he wants to fight at a high level and stay busy. The southeast title is not on the line, but the winner gets the Northeast title.’ explains the matchmaker. ‘As for Dave Gardner, he brings an excellent record and a good mindset – he is up for the challenge, and he wants to be the guy in the northeast!’

The rest of the card features local stand out Nuri Shakir in a tough bout against rugged Keith Wisniewski, who defeated one of Shakir’s teammates at the ROF 2 event. A ladies feature but of Angela Wilson v Shelby Walker is sure to bring the crowd to it’s feet. The complete card below:
