(Updated)Kurt Angle No Longer Commentating November 3rd MMA WSOF

Less than one week after MMA World Series of Fighting announced that Kurt Angle would be one of the commentators for its upcoming November 3rd debut, the professional wrestler has announced he will not be part of the NBC Sports Network team.

Speaking via his official Twitter account, Angle stated:

As Requested that I Must Announce, I will not be Commentating @mmaworldseries Nov3 on NBC Sports,Due to A Conflict of Interested

In a follow up report from MMA Junkie, however, WSOF President Ray Sefo has reportedly confirmed that Angle’s contract with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling is the reason for his withdrawal.

Veteran announced Michael Schiavello and legendary fighter Bas Rutten currently make up the broadcast team.

The November 3rd card will take place at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas and will feature bouts with Miguel Torres, Bobby Lashley, Rolles Gracie and James McSweeney.

Bouts that have been confirmed for the card include “JZ” Cavalcante vs. John Gunderson, Josh Burkman vs. Gerald Harris, Brian Cobb vs. Ronys Torres and Gregor Gracie vs. Tyson Steele.
