Las Vegas, NV – Lion Fight Promotions CEO Scott Kent today announced that Casey Bohrman is injured and was forced to pull out of her scheduled title fight at LION FIGHT 20. Multiple World Champion Chantal Ughi has stepped up to challenge reigning Lion Fight Champion Jorina Baars for the women’s welterweight strap Friday, February 20 live from Foxwoods Resort Casino.

“When Casey Bohrman suffered an injury, multiple Muay Thai Champion Chantal Ughi stepped right up to fight Jorina Baars at LION FIGHT 20,” said Kent. “Not only does Chantal want the belt, she also wants to avenge a loss against Baars that’s been seven years in the making. Jorina Baars has considered herself the ‘baddest woman in standup’ ever since she beat Cris Cyborg. She can’t wait to get in the ring February 20 to defend her welterweight title – and beat Ughi all over again.”

LION FIGHT 20 will mark the second meeting of Baars and Ughi. The pair fought once before in 2009, with Baars pulling a narrow split decision victory in a back and forth battle. Baars went on to maintain her perfect record and destroy every challenger put before her. Ughi has since fought over 50 times and established herself as one of the most formidable opponents in the sport.

In the LION FIGHT 20 action-packed co-main event, Chris Mauceri will take on Thai fighter Sittisak in a men’s 143 lbs. full Muay Thai rules bout.

Mauceri (7-1) is a star on the rise that has stood with some of the best Muay Thai fighters in the U.S. He fought Kevin Ross, who is the reigning Lion Fight Super Lightweight Champion, and defeated Coke Chunhawat who has over 150 fights on record. In this fight, he showed how much he improved his Muay Thai skills within just months since taking his first professional loss from Kevin Ross.

Sittisak (65-12) originally from Bangkok, Thailand, now fights out of Atlanta in the Top Thai gym. Sittisak made his debut at the first-ever Lion Fight event February 12, 2011 when he took on Kevin Ross. The bout went down as one of Lion Fight’s best ever because of the pair’s back and forth full Muay Thai rules battle. At LION FIGHT 20, Mauceri now takes on a young, aggressive and also highly technical opponent in Sittisak
