Lion Fight 29 Weigh-In Results: Jo Nattawut And Regian Eersel Set For Headliner

All combatants were on the mark at the official weigh-in for Lion Fight 29 held Thursday afternoon at Foxwoods Resort & Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut.

Lion Fight 29 takes place Friday at the Fox Theatre at Foxwoods, and is headlined by a showdown between Lion Fight super welterweight champion “Smokin’ Jo Nattawut and rising star Regian Eersel. The non-title bout will be in the middleweight division, and both fighters stepped off the scale at 159 lbs.

The co-main event will two former champions against each other in a lightweight clash. Former Lion Fight title-holder Ognjen Topic will look to rebound after losing his belt at Lion Fight 28 to Sergio Wielzen, while onetime Lumpinee Stadium champ Dechsakda Sitsongpeenong will be out to make a statement in his debut on American soil. Both Topic and Dechsakda weighed in at 132 lbs.

A featured main-card bout is also comes in the lightweight division as new sensation Travis Clay meets highlight-reel afficinado Julio Pena. Both Clay and Pena tipped the scales at 132 lbs.
