Luke Rockhold has his second UFC bout booked, as the former Strikeforce champion will fight middleweight Tim Boetsch at UFC 166 on October 19th. The American Kickboxing Academy fighter will be fighting alongside his teammates Cain Velasquez and Daniel Cormier, who are set to fight Junior dos Santos and Roy Nelson respectively.

ESPN.com reported the middleweight match-up, and Rockhold has confirmed the bout via Twitter by stating:

It’s gonna be a party an #AKA party that is! Ill be fighting Tim Boetsch at #UFC166 in Houston along side my teammates @cainmma & @dc_mma

Rockhold (10-2) will be fighting for the first time since May, when he was knocked out by Vitor Belfort in his Octagon debut at UFC on FX 8. Prior to the defeat Rockhold had won nine straight fights, which included wins over Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza and Tim Kennedy.

Boetsch (16-6) will be in a must win situation, as after scoring four straight wins at middleweight, the former light-heavyweight has dropped consecutive bouts to Costa Philippou and Mark Munoz.

UFC 166 will be hosted by Houston’s Toyota Center and the main card will be available via pay-per-view.
