M-1 Fighter Tournament Premieres August 6th, Streaming Live

M-1 Global has announced that the promotion’s new M-1 Fighter tournament will be streamed live online, via Geniroom on August 6th beginning at 6:00AM ET. The competition will showcase up-and-coming fighters from Russia and is being held in conjunction with the XXIII International Festival of Bikers.

The promotion’s matchmaker Alexander Shuldyakov was quoted saying in the announcement:

“M-1 organizes mixed martial arts tournaments around the world. Our most famous projects include international tournaments (M-1 Challenge) and regional tournaments (M-1 Selection). This year we are launching a new project – M-1 Fighter…The purpose of this competition is to select and view the young guys. Here they get the chance to show their high level and get to our tournaments.”

The International Festival of Bikers is reportedly the largest of its kind to take place in Northwest, Russia.

No information regarding any of the competitors scheduled for the MMA tournament was given.
