Recently Vitor Belfort reported he wants to keep fighting after his final UFC fight takes place, June 3rd, and now his manager has relayed “The Phenom’s” interested in fighting two Bellator stars.

Belfort will take on Nate Marquardt at UFC 212, and the bout will be the final fight of his current deal with the promotion. Initially, the expectation was that Belfort would retire after June 3rd, until the 40 year-old clarified his plans.

According to a follow up report from MMA Fighting, since Belfort made those comments, his manager Gustavo Lacerda told the MMA Ganhador podcast:

“What I think it’s possible to imagine is: what does the MMA fan wants?” Lacerda said. “He wants to see Vitor vs. Wanderlei (Silva), wants to see Vitor vs. (Chael) Sonnen. He wants these type of fights. And it’s the type of fights that interests us. Vitor doesn’t need to prove anything regarding to ranking or title. The idea is to have fights that are interesting. Interest the fans, and interest the fighter.”

Belfort will take on Nate Marquardt at UFC 212, which will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Silva and Sonnen, meanwhile, are booked to fight at Bellator’s June 24th, NYC card.
