Former UFC star Marcus “The Irish Hand Grenade” Davis (20-9) will return to action against Bellator veteran Matt Sung Lee (14-10-1) in the main event of an MMA card promoted by Century Fighting Championship at Icenter in Salem, NH. on Saturday, March 31.

UFC veteran Dan “The Upgrade” Lauzon (16-4) will face Don Carlo-Clauss (8-6) in the card’s co-main event.  Television distribution of the event has not been announced.

The 38-year-old Davis, a two-time UFC  “Fight Of The Night” winner and veteran of 15 fights in The Octagon, is coming off a split decision defeat at the hands of The Ultimate Fighter veteran Chuck O’Neil in Miami on Oct. 15, 2011.  The loss snapped a three-fight winning streak for Davis.

Lee, 40 years old, was victorious by way of unanimous decision over Tiawan Howard in his last effort on Nov. 12.  Overall, Lee is 4-3 in his last seven fights.

The 23-year-old Lauzon, a two-time veteran of UFC action, is looking to notch his fifth straight win.  Three of his last four fights, including his last two, have come by way of TKO with punches.  Lauzon stopped Anthony Kaponis in the opening round of action in his last fight on Dec. 3.

Clauss, a journeyman from Rochester, NY, rebounded from a three-fight losing streak in his last effort when he scored a second round TKO (punches) on John Ortolani on Jan. 27.  Clauss wrestled for Virginia University and was a two-time NY State wrestling champion in high school.
