Mark Hominick vs. Eddie Yagin Fight Moved To UFC 145 In Atlanta

Mark Hominick (right) will take on Eddie Yagin at UFC 145 in Atlanta

By FCF Staff

The featherweight (145 pounds) bout between Mark Hominick (20-10) and Eddie Yagin (15-5-1), originally slated for March 24 in Montreal, Canada, will now take place at Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georiga as part of the UFC 145 card.

It has not been indicated yet whether the fight will be a part of the main card or the preliminary card.  The main card will air live on Pay Per View and either FX or Fuel TV are expected to carry the preliminary bouts.

Both Hominick and Yagin are looking to return to the win column after recent defeats.  Hominick was knocked out by Chang Sung Jung aka “The Korean Zombie” in just seven seconds at UFC 140 in December, marking his second straight loss.  Yagin dropped a decision to Junior Assuncao at UFC 135.
