Recently Mark Hunt and his lawyer said they were considering launching a lawsuit against the UFC, and now the heavyweight’s reportedly done just that.

Since Brock Lesnar tested positive for the banned substance Hydroxy-clomiphene, in testing that was tied to his bout with Hunt in July, the latter has been extremely critical of the UFC’s policies regarding PEDs. The feared slugger has demanded that the UFC pay him Lesnar’s purse, and institute PED clauses in bout agreements moving forward. Neither has happened.

According to a report from ESPN, Hunt has filed a civil suit against Lesnar, UFC President Dana White and the UFC. The suit alleges that the defendants “affirmatively circumvented and obstructed fair competition for their own benefit.” The suit’s allegations include fraud and racketeering, and points to the UFC’s anti-doping policy, which says the promotion can take back a fighter’s purse, if they test positive for PEDs.

The UFC  has yet to publicly comment on the civil suit.

Hunt is currently scheduled to fight Alistair Overeem at UFC 209, March 4th.
