Invicta FC Results: Marloes Coenen, Jessica Penne, Liz Carmouche Amongst Victorious At All-Women’s Debut Event

Former Strikeforce bantamweight champ Marloes Coenen was victorious at Invicta Fighting Championship’s debut event last night in Kansas City, Kansas, as the veteran earned a unanimous decision win over Romy Ruyssen.

Jessica Penne recorded her ninth pro victory by way of third round TKO over Lisa Ellis-Ward in the co-main event.

Strikeforce competitors Liz Carmouche and Sarah D’Alelio reeled off victories by way of first round TKO and second round submission, respectively, and 2008 Olympic wrestling bronze medalist Randi Miller notched her first career victory in the cage with a barrage of strikes from mount position in the third round of her matchup with Mollie Estes.
