MFC welterweight Dhiego Lima

By FCF Staff

The Maximum Fighting Championship has increased its reach in Canada, as the promotion has announced that it has signed a one year, broadcasting deal with The Sports Network 2. The channel is the second that is provided by TSN, the nation’s first ever all sports network.

TSN is owned by Bell Media with ESPN holding a minority stake in the network.

According to a press release announcing the new agreement, MFC cards will be broadcast on TSN2 within 30 days of the original event date.

MFC 31, which takes place tonight in Edmonton, Alberta, will be the first card to be broadcast on TSN 2.

The card, which will be broadcast live on HDNet, will feature light-heavyweight champion Ryan Jimmo facing veteran Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou in the main event.
