The Ultimate Fighting Championship has confirmed the first bout for its upcoming, July 27th FOX card in Seattle, as Melvin Guillard and Mac Danzig have reportedly agreed to fight at the event.

Guillard (30-12-2) will be looking to return to the win column, as the powerful lightweight is coming off back-to-back losses to Donald Cerrone and Jamie Varner. The vet recently announced he was leaving the Blackzilians team to return to Jackson’s MMA, however, the New Mexico camp has reportedly denied Guillard’s request.

Danzig (21-10-1), meanwhile, is coming off a split decision loss to Takanori Gomi in February, after working his way to a unanimous decision win over Efrain Escudero last April.

UFC on FOX 8 will be hosted by Seattle’s Key Arena.
