Metamoris 4: Chael Sonnen Appears Set to Compete Despite NSAC Protest
By FCF Staff
Despite the protests of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, it looks as though Chael Sonnen will still grapple Andre Galvao on Saturday at Metamoris 4.
Recently it was reported that the NSAC believes Sonnen is prohibited from competing at the event, as a result of a two year suspension he was given for failing two drug tests. The organization has reportedly threatened to fine Sonnen if he participates.
Sonnen and his camp, however, do not believe that the retired fighter’s suspension applies to grappling events.
Metamoris has not made any official announcement regarding any changes to the card’s line-up, and recently Sonnen tweeted:
When a Gangster says he will make that walk, he MAKES THE WALK.

Metamoris 4 will be hosted by the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, California.
