MFC 29 Line-Up: Ryan Jimmo, Douglas Lima Defending Titles

The Maximum Fighting Championship continues to confirm bouts for the promotion’s upcoming debut in Ontario, which will take place April 8th at Caesars Windsor. “Conquer” will feature two title fights, as welterweight champion Douglas Lima (17-4) will take on UFC Terry Martin (21-8), and light-heavyweight champ Ryan Jimmo (14-1) (pictured) will face former title holder, Emanuel Newton (14-6-1).
MFC 29 will feature several other former UFC competitors, as Hermes “The Unreal” Franca (20-11) will meet Robert “The Beast” Washington (9-2), and Marcus “The Irish Hand Grenade” Davis (17-8) will make his promotional debut against lightweight Curtis “The Demon” Demarce (10-8).
Former UFC welterweight Pete Spratt (21-19) has been confirmed as well, and will square off with Demi Deeds (15-8).
Rounding out the evening’s main card will be a middleweight bout between Andreas “The Sweet Swede” Spang (4-0) and Ali “The Monster” Mokdad (3-0).
The April 8th undercard will include:
Dhiego Lima vs. Josh Taveirne, welterweight
David Bo Harris vs. Chuck Mady, bantamweight
Pete Brown vs. Matt Spizak, lightweight
Ben Jamieson vs. Brent Franczuz, bantamweight
