Michael Bisping Reports Members of Georges St-Pierre’s Camp Have Reached Out Regarding Fight
By FCF Staff
It remains to be seen who Michael Bisping will fight in his first title defense, but according to the newly crowned, middleweight champ, Georges St-Pierre is a possibility.
For months, there’s been speculation and talk about St-Pierre returning to the Octagon, but nothing official has been announced. Recently Bisping appeared on FOX Sports Live, and the British star reported that members of GSP’s camp, have relayed he’s interested in fighting him. Bisping then proceeded to say he’d be willing to face the former welterweight champ.
Bisping also repeated what he’s said in recent interviews about the likes of Luke Rockhold, “Jacare” Souza and Dan Henderson. Bisping argued that Rockhold needs to record another win or two, before he gets a third fight with him. The 37 year-old added that Souza is a worthy contender, and that he’d love to rematch Henderson, who KO’d him back in 2009.
