Luke Rockhold is hoping to get back on track, following his memorable stoppage loss to Vitor Belfort at UFC on FX 8, and the former Strikeforce champ has targeted another established vet in Michael Bisping.

Rockhold called for a bout with the middleweight Tuesday, by posting the following statement on his Twitter account:

@bisping u dont have opponent, I dont have opponent, u talk shit about “practice” i say we set the record straight once & for all @danawhite

Rockhold was referencing comments Bisping made last fall while appearing on SPIKE TV’s “MMA Uncensored”, where he claimed to have got the better of the 28 year-old in sparring.

Bisping, who was also stopped by Belfort in January, responded to Rockhold by tweeting:

@LukeRockhold @danawhite I say you go and win a fight in the UFC then we can talk.

Most recently, the 34 year-old Bisping worked his way to a unanimous decision win over Alan Belcher at UFC 159.
