Michael Chiesa Pulled From UFC on FOX 5 Due to Injury

“Ultimate Fighter”, Season 15 winner Michael Chiesa will no longer compete at this coming Saturday’s UFC on FOX 5 card due to illness. The lightweight had been scheduled to fight Marcus LeVesseur at the event, which will take place at Seattle’s Key Arena.
No details regarding the nature of Chiesa’s (8-0) injury were included in the UFC’s announcement.
The 24 year-old fighter hasn’t competed since June when he choked out Al Iaquinta the TUF 15 Finale to win the competition.
UFC on FOX 5 will feature a lightweight bout between champion Benson Henderson and Nate Diaz in the main event.
