Yet another Strikeforce vet has been added to an upcoming UFC card, as the promotion has confirmed that Mizuto Hirota will take on featherweight Rani Yahya at its March 3rd event in Saitama, Japan. In addition, a welterweight bout between Marcelo Guimares and UFC newcomer Hyun Gyu Lim has been added to UFC on FUEL TV 8, which will be hosted by the Saitama Super Arena.

Hirota (14-5-1) is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Pat Healy at a Strikeforce event in July. The former Sengoku and DEEP lightweight champion will move to featherweight to face Yahya (17-7), who tapped out Josh Grispi at UFC on FOX 4 in August.

Guimaraes (8-0-1) made his Octagon debut in July and scored a split decision win over Daniel Stittgen.

Lim (10-3), on the other hand, will make his UFC debut having won five straight bouts, four of which came through competing for Pacific Xtreme Combat.

The upcoming March 3rd event will be headlined by a light-heavyweight bout between Wanderlei Silva and Brian Stann.
